Deep past the rolling hills, there is a forest where the leaves are made of colored glass. When the wind stirs, these leaves produce soft music, resembling small bells and hushed flutes. A curious nine-year-old named Finn visits the forest every day with his notebook. There he becomes friends with a shy grey creature called Pip and meets Elder Willow, a guardian who tells him that the glass leaves are fragile and need to be handled with care.
When news of the forest spreads, careless visitors start breaking branches to keep as souvenirs, and the leaves go quiet. Finn suggests a solution: safe pathways so visitors can admire the leaves without touching them. Together with Elder Willow and Pip, he lays out stone-and-wood routes and bark signs asking people to look with their eyes, not their hands. The tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN can be read on Online Masal.
