Sam spends his time on a windy hill at the edge of town, watching starlings wheel and swirl across the sky. Notebook in hand, he sketches their shifting patterns and tries to understand how so many birds can move as though they share a single mind. At school he shares his fascination with his best friend Mira, and the two of them begin to wonder whether people could move in the same way.

Their teacher, Mrs. Pelt, encourages Sam and his classmates to try. The children practice swooping, swirling and shaping themselves into formations, and Toby, the smallest and clumsiest in the class, finds the early attempts difficult. Through help and repeated practice he gradually becomes part of the group, and the class learns what can be built when everyone moves together. This gentle story by Çınar BİBER explores cooperation and perseverance, and it can be read on Masalcı Baba.
