Finn arrives on Puffin Island in his red raincoat and green boots, excited to see hundreds of puffins bobbing on the waves. There he meets Mrs. Tamsin, a friendly ranger who explains that the birds nest in burrows across the island and that visitors must stay on the marked paths so the puffins are not disturbed. Finn promises to keep to the paths, and as he walks he learns to watch the birds quietly, noticing their striped beaks and calm, wary curiosity.

When Finn sees a family step off the path and frighten the puffins, he realizes that some visitors simply do not know the rules. Back at the visitor center he asks Mrs. Tamsin if he can make a guide for children, and together they create a colorful booklet with simple tips and friendly drawings. The next day Finn hands his guide to a girl named Lila, who follows it carefully and passes the idea on to other children. More and more young visitors stay on the paths, and the puffins grow calm enough to come close. This tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL can be read on Masal İzle.
