In a quiet street, a boy with sandy-brown hair and a gap-toothed smile visits an animal rescue center, hoping to find a puppy to love. There he meets Pip, a tiny puppy with soft cream-and-tan fur, one floppy ear and one that perks up, and big dark chocolate eyes that look scared. The boy kneels down, speaks softly, and knows right away that Pip is the puppy for him. He promises Pip a safe home forever, and on the way home, Pip curls up in his lap and falls asleep.
At home, Pip is shy and hides under the sofa, but the boy is patient and kind. He sits on the floor, waits, and offers treats until Pip slowly creeps out. The next day, training begins. With a green canvas treat pouch and plenty of praise, the boy teaches Pip to sit, come, wait for his food, and walk nicely on a leash. Pip learns that training time is the best time of day, and their bond grows stronger with every small success. This heartwarming story by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL can be read on Masal İzle.
