Every Saturday, a boy in bright yellow rain boots and a red backpack arrives at the river reserve, eager to watch the little otters beside the water. Notebook and sharp pencil in hand, he tiptoes to the bank and records a small otter nibbling a fish on a flat stone. His quiet routine shifts when he spots a crinkled cup, a plastic bag and a bottle floating past the old willow tree toward the otter's home.
Troubled for the animal he has grown to love, the boy speaks with his mother, then with the river ranger, who hears his plan for a riverside cleanup and agrees to lead helpers along safe paths. Families soon gather at the reserve gate with buckets and gloves. The tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL follows one child's careful noticing as it becomes a shared effort, and it can be read on Masal İzle.
