On a foggy Saturday, Sam sets out for the nature reserve with his yellow rain jacket, red backpack and a notebook ready for notes. At the gate, Ranger May gives him three simple rules before they walk the dirt path: stay on the trail, remain quiet and still, and keep a respectful distance from wild animals. Sam writes each one down, then discovers a small fox cub with rusty fur and bright amber eyes hiding behind the ferns.

Rather than moving closer, Sam stays put and quietly sketches the cub as it plays among the leaves and grass. Ranger May explains why feeding wild animals can cause them harm, and Sam adds this to his notes too. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle tale about patience and observation can be read on Masal İzle, and it invites young animal lovers to think about how to watch wildlife without disturbing it.
