Leo lives on a bright island where he spends every morning watching manta rays from the shore. With his waterproof notebook and orange snorkel mask, he sketches the gentle giants and whispers that they are the most peaceful creatures in the sea. One afternoon, a small manta ray about the size of a bicycle wheel swims close and blinks up at him, as if inviting him to follow.
The next day, Leo enters the water and the little manta becomes his guide. It leads him to a quiet reef, a cleaning station, and a huge manta with a wingspan wider than Leo's arm span. Through these encounters, Leo learns that manta rays are curious and gentle, and that people must not chase or touch them. Back on shore, he shares his findings with Grandma Nia, and together they create a guide for responsible ocean tourism. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this tale can be read on Masal İzle.
