Miles adores the small geckos that scurry up the sun-warmed garden wall near his house. Every morning, before school, he greets them while wearing his mustard-yellow T-shirt covered in gecko prints. When his teacher, Ms. Park, sees how fascinated he is, she urges him to find out more and share his discoveries with the class. Armed with a notebook, Miles observes the geckos catching insects, slipping into warm crevices, and flattening their spotted bodies against the stone, jotting down every detail.

His observations turn into a class project: a habitat display complete with a glass tank, heated rocks, and plants for the geckos to hide in. With Ms. Park's guidance and his mother's help at home, Miles sets up the exhibit and makes a poster calling geckos gentle helpers. The tale, written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, can be read on Masal İzle. It follows how careful watching and patient explaining can turn fear into understanding, especially for a classmate who once thought reptiles were scary.
