The Beaver's Secret Elevator

Barley the beaver lives in a snug lodge of sticks and mud beside a fast-flowing river. One day he notices an odd crack in a tall oak tree, and it turns out to lead to a tiny elevator that rises to a miniature village tucked high among the branches. Eager to share the discovery, Barley hurries back to fetch his friends: Pip the bluebird, who keeps watch, and Hazel the hedgehog, who enjoys puzzles and carries a basket for treasures.

Together the three ride the elevator up to the sky village, where a series of puzzles and challenges await and demand cooperation to solve. They open gates, repair a windmill, and cross a stepping-stone bridge, meeting Grandpa Oak, the village keeper, along the way. This gentle tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK highlights friendship and the value of each friend's strengths. The story can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
