The Beaver's Birthday Boat

Benny the beaver lives beside a wide, slow river and cherishes his grandmother. With her birthday approaching, he decides to craft a special gift: a boat for her to enjoy the river. Benny works diligently, chewing and shaping wood, but upon launching the boat, he finds it too narrow and unstable.

Just as Benny feels discouraged, two muskrats, Marty and Millie, offer their help. Together, they learn about teamwork and careful planning. Marty measures and draws new plans, Millie collects soft moss for cushions, and Benny chews new planks. They rebuild the boat wider, longer, and cozier, working all afternoon until it is perfect. This heartwarming tale from Çınar BİBER teaches perseverance and cooperation, and can be read on Masalcı Baba.
