Pip the puffin enjoys flying over the wide blue sea. One misty morning, he notices a tiny island on the horizon and decides to investigate. There he meets Gilda the guillemot, a slender bird with a sea-glass ribbon on her leg. Exploring together, they find that the island's quiet cliffs have no nests, and they imagine turning the place into a safe sanctuary for seabirds. Yet they understand they cannot accomplish this alone.
Pip and Gilda gather other seabirds and share their idea. The birds are intrigued but anxious, wondering if the island is truly safe. A razorbill warns that strong winds might roll eggs off the ledges, so the group cooperates to build nesting walls from stones, twigs, and moss. When a flock of gulls challenges them, Pip and Gilda respond with bravery and kindness, offering to share the sea and respect the gulls' fishing spot. This heartwarming story, written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, teaches children about cooperation, kindness, and protecting nature. You can read The Puffin's Secret Island on Masal İzle.
