In a sunny woodland of tall gum trees, a little wombat in a red neckerchief lives quietly in his burrow under the ferns. When Pip the bandicoot arrives with a blue satchel and asks for help because her burrow has flooded, the little wombat makes a promise to fix it, believing a promise is a promise. He feels proud of his word and pictures himself digging and patching until all is well again.
Before they can start, a heavy storm forces them to shelter in a hollow log for the night. The little wombat thinks of Pip's flooded burrow and decides to help no matter what. In the morning, the woodland is a mess and Pip's burrow is worse, but he begins digging while Pip scoops mud. A kookaburra spreads the word, and soon a possum, a rabbit, a lizard and two small mice arrive to help rebuild. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL can be read on Masal İzle and follows how keeping a promise brings a community together.
