In a magical forest where tall trees whisper secrets, a little sable named Rusty wakes each morning curious and cheerful, ready to explore. His soft chestnut fur, cream-colored face, big dark eyes and long fluffy tail make him easy to notice, and his short nimble legs carry him over mossy logs and past glowing mushrooms and singing streams. One chilly morning he meets Snow, a snowshoe hare with a winter coat white as snow, long black-tipped ears and wide amber eyes full of fear.
Snow does not know Rusty and worries that a small stranger might be tricky. Instead of chasing or coaxing, Rusty sits down and says he will stay right where he is until Snow feels ready to come closer. That patience slowly turns fear into trust, and the two begin to play among the ferns. Then Rusty suggests they explore an old abandoned winter lodge beyond the big pine tree. Snow is uneasy, but Rusty promises they will go together, and inside the dusty rooms they find sunbeams, an old fireplace, a patchwork quilt and a small wooden box holding shiny acorns and a tiny silver bell. This gentle story by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL can be read on Masal İzle.
