Pip the penguin leaves his cozy igloo on a bright, chilly morning with a red scarf, a tiny satchel, and a shiny brass compass that always points north. At the edge of the ice, he meets Pearl, a snow petrel with a blue bow and a twig basket, and the two new friends decide to explore together. They slide down snowy hills, share stories, and soon wander farther than Pip has ever gone before, until the ice rises into tall, shining walls that twist and turn: a magical ice maze.
Inside the maze, the path splits again and again. Pip and Pearl find snowflake marks, a scratched arrow, and a dead end, and Pip begins to worry that they will never get out. Pearl reminds him that they are a team, and together they work out a plan: Pip's compass keeps them moving in one direction while Pearl flies up to look for clues, and red fluff from Pip's scarf marks the turns they have already taken. When they reach the heart of the maze, a glowing star atop an ice pillar carries a riddle about friends sharing their strengths. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL can be read on Masal İzle.
