In a broad, open field lives a small quail named Quilla, all on her own. Her feathers are a soft golden-brown dotted with cream, and her eyes are large, dark and round. Lately she has been uneasy: daylight fades sooner, the air feels cooler, the tall grass yellows and browns, and a far-off rumble unsettles her. She cannot tell what is shifting around her, and she has no safe place to build a nest.

One morning a cheerful field mouse named Milo appears beside a stone with a little woven straw satchel and offers his help. The two search the field together, looking under tall grass and beside soft stones, until they find a small hole beneath a big bushy plant that opens into a warm, dry space. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL follows their quiet partnership as worry gives way to reassurance, and it can be read on Masal İzle.
