On a sunlit shore where waves whisper and sand glitters, a tiny plover lives alone, no bigger than a child's fist, with sandy-brown and cream feathers and large dark eyes. She watches other birds glide over the water and longs for one of them to call out to her. Every morning she pecks at the sand, hoping to find a friend, and every morning she sighs because she has no one to play with.

One bright day a graceful tern with a black cap and orange-red beak lands nearby and asks if the plover would like to fly with her. The plover admits she is not a strong flyer, so the tern offers to teach her. Soon they are inseparable, chasing foam, playing hide-and-seek in the dunes, and racing the tide. As the plover's wings grow stronger, the tern suggests building a nest, and the plover leads her to a quiet spot where the sand is firm and the tide never reaches. Other shorebirds gather to watch, and when invited to join, the beach slowly fills with nests and chirps. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL shows how friendship makes us strong and how helping each other benefits everyone. You can read it on Masal İzle.
