High above the forest, a small golden-brown flying fox named Pip wakes each evening to search for juicy fruit among the tall trees. One night, a tall hornbill named Kito swoops down, and the two become friends. Kito, who has flown far and wide, offers to show Pip the forest beyond the treetops. Together they glide over shining rivers and rolling hills until they reach a fig tree full of ripe fruit.
As Pip eats, a tiny seed slips out and falls to the ground. Kito explains that a new tree may grow from it and that he also carries seeds in his beak, dropping them on distant hills. From then on, the friends fly out every evening, spreading seeds across the forest. When a seed gets stuck on a hard rock, they discover that Pip's wings and Kito's strong beak can solve together what neither could alone. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, available on Masal İzle, shows how fruit bats and hornbills help forests grow and carries a simple message about friendship and cooperation.
