In a cheerful valley filled with wildflowers, Pip is a small mint-green dragon with a pale yellow belly, large amber eyes and a blue scarf tied around his neck. He enjoys wandering and discovering new things, but his magic rarely behaves: when he becomes excited or anxious, sparks fly from his snout, marshmallows dissolve into purple smoke and lanterns burst into showers of green stars. The other animals laugh at these mishaps, and Pip grows quiet and withdrawn, longing to control the magic that makes him feel like a display nobody wants.
One morning Pip goes further into the forest and meets Olive, a gentle owl wearing tiny spectacles and a knitted mustard-yellow shawl. She tells him that magic resembles a wild butterfly and needs a calm heart and a soft touch, then gives him three simple pieces of advice about breathing, happy thoughts and daily practice. This tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL follows Pip as he practices on a mossy stump and tries to help a squirrel, and it can be read on Masal İzle.
