The Little Dragon's Friend

Pip is a small, round dragon with soft mint-green scales, a straw hat with a red ribbon, and a shy heart. He lives on the sunny side of a big mountain, where he looks after his daisies, marigolds and one proud sunflower with a tiny blue watering can, humming to himself and wondering about the secrets the mountain keeps but never daring to climb and find out.

One cool morning a white rabbit named Hazel hops out of the ferns, a silver star glowing on her forehead and sparkles trailing from her paws. New to the mountain, she invites Pip to see a hidden garden high above. Though his wings flutter with worry, Pip follows her up the bumpy trail, and together they find an old stone-walled garden in a quiet hollow. Slowly and gently, the two friends pull weeds, plant seeds and carry water, and Pip discovers that his clumsy claws can be careful and kind. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle tale can be read on Masal İzle.
