The Girl and the Piglet

In a small town with a large red barn, a girl named Lina adores animals above all else. When she learns that a rescued piglet will soon live nearby, she hurries over in her red rubber boots to meet her. Poppy is small and round, with floppy ears, a curly tail, and a soft blue harness bearing a clover-shaped tag. She sniffs Lina's hand and wiggles with delight, and a friendship begins.

After school each day, Lina visits the barn with her canvas treat pouch. A round puzzle feeder with hidden holes and little doors shows her how much Poppy enjoys solving problems, so Lina collects boxes, cups, and wooden blocks, paints them in bright colors, and builds a game of small challenges. Week by week she makes it harder, and Poppy finds her own solutions, sometimes surprising Lina. Written by Çınar BİBER, this gentle tale can be read on Masalcı Baba.
