Nora spends her days in the garden chasing butterflies and sketching their bright wings in her nature journal. But when evening falls, she wonders whether butterflies also flutter in the dark. Her neighbor Ms. Luna, who wears a wide-brimmed hat and a moth-shaped pin, invites Nora to discover the garden's nighttime visitors. With a lantern, they step outside and meet moths, including the striking luna moth with lime-green wings and crescent moon shapes.
As Nora learns about sphinx moths and wave moths, she sees that moths are not just dull brown butterflies but beautiful and important nighttime pollinators. Guided by Ms. Luna, she plants a moonlit garden with white flowers to attract moths and begins to observe and document them in her journal. Nora becomes a moth expert and shares her findings by creating a library poster and leading a night walk for other children. This heartwarming story by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL celebrates nature's beauty, the role of moths as pollinators, and the joy of curiosity. Read The Girl and the Moth on Masal İzle.
