Maya is looking forward to a class trip to the ocean, where she and her friend Leo explore the beach with their teacher, Mr. Okafor. By a rock pool, Maya finds a small blue-grey penguin with a plastic ring caught around one flipper. Mr. Okafor carefully removes the ring, and Maya names the penguin Pip. When the teacher explains how plastic waste can travel through ocean currents and harm animals far away, Maya and Leo feel they must do something.
Back at school, Maya asks if the class can create a project about plastic in the ocean. The children make a poster and a model with blue yarn currents, and Leo draws a map showing how trash moves around the world. At an assembly, Maya shares simple tips like using fewer plastic bags and picking up litter. This story by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL shows how curiosity and small actions can help wildlife, and it can be read on Masal İzle.
