On a grey afternoon, Lila stands in her garden wearing her yellow raincoat and blue rubber boots, watching clouds play hide-and-seek with the sun. Suddenly, she notices a turtle swimming through the sky, its teal-green shell decorated with white swirls like clouds. Curious, she climbs the tallest tree to meet it, and the turtle introduces itself as Taro, who is searching for a missing friend—a little raincloud that has wandered off and is shy and easily sulky.

Lila offers to help, and together they soar across the sky on Taro's soft shell, passing fluffy and wispy clouds, looking behind a big grey cloud and under a rainbow. Lila writes down every clue in her notebook. At last, they find the raincloud hiding behind a mountain of fluff, feeling left out because the other clouds never play with it. Lila listens to its sadness, and with Taro, she reminds it how important it is: it makes flowers grow and rivers flow. This picture-book tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK gently explores feelings of being left out and the value of listening. You can read it on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
