Finn, a young fox with soft reddish-orange fur and a fluffy white-tipped tail, lives in a cozy den at the edge of a sunny meadow. One bright morning, he sets off to explore, hoping to see something new. Near a patch of purple flowers, he meets Pip, a tiny butterfly with sky-blue wings, who is upset because a fallen branch has blocked her usual path to the flowers. Finn decides to help.
Finn carefully studies the branch and, with gentle determination, manages to move it aside. Pip is overjoyed and performs a happy dance, then invites Finn to visit her special meadow. Together, they travel down the newly cleared path, with Finn walking slowly so Pip can keep up. At the meadow, Finn discovers a world full of colorful flowers and many butterflies, all of whom thank him for helping Pip. Pip shows him her favorite sunflower, and Finn feels happy and welcomed. This heartwarming story by Jane MEADOW teaches children the value of kindness, perseverance, and friendship, and can be read on Kids Tale Book.
