Leo is a boy who feels most at home in the quiet hours of the night. While the rest of his household sleeps, he creeps to his window with a small camera and photographs the moon, the streetlights, and the dark outlines of trees. One clear evening, a tiny moth settles on the glass, its pale cream wings marked with soft brown swirls and eye-like spots, and Leo takes its picture. That first meeting stirs a new interest: finding the hidden insects that come to his window after dark.

Before long he spots a shiny green beetle, a delicate lacewing, and even a spider spinning silver thread. With his mother's support, Leo prints his favourite photographs and, helped by her, arranges a small exhibition for neighbours and friends. The event goes well, a local newspaper writes about his story, and more visitors follow. His teacher then asks him to present his photos at school, where he introduces classmates to the quiet beauty of nighttime insects. Çınar BİBER's gentle tale can be read on Masalcı Baba.
