In a small village surrounded by rolling green hills, a boy named Leo follows a soft bleating sound to a neighbor's farm. There he finds a little goat with a cream-white coat and a brown patch over one eye, looking scared and lonely. Leo's heart fills with warmth, and he promises to care for her, naming her Clover. They quickly become best friends, but Leo soon notices Clover's love for climbing everything—rocks, logs, and even the low stone wall by the garden. Worried she might fall and get hurt, he decides to find a way to keep her safe.
That evening, Leo thinks carefully and remembers how much Clover enjoys climbing. He comes up with a plan to build safe climbing places just for her. The next morning, he gathers smooth wooden boards and soft hay, working carefully while Clover watches curiously. He builds a gentle ramp covered with soft hay and little hills for her to hop on. Clover loves her new playground, and Leo learns that caring for a friend means doing real things—building, feeding, warming, and watching.
