Sam is a curious boy who visits the pond at the end of his street each morning, wearing his green rubber boots and carrying a notebook in his canvas satchel. He watches the frogs closely, and his favourite is a tiny green frog with golden eyes, no bigger than his thumb, whom he calls Little Frog. In his notebook Sam records what he observes, such as Little Frog's liking for clean water and green plants.
One sunny morning Sam's class visits the pond with their teacher, Ms. Rosa, who explains how frogs breathe through their skin and what they need to live and grow. The pond, however, is in trouble: the water is muddy and brown, most plants are gone, and Little Frog cannot be found. Ms. Rosa tells the class the pond needs their help, and the children decide to restore it. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL follows Sam's patience and hope, and it can be read on Masal İzle.
