In the green woods, Bruno the brown bear spends his days building, with a green work apron holding wooden pegs and a small hammer. His closest friend is Rosie, a quick little rabbit with cream fur, a red scarf, and a yellow satchel filled with pencils, paper plans, and measuring string. On a sunny morning the pair choose a wide clearing with soft grass and a big oak tree, where they begin work on a playground meant for every woodland animal to enjoy together.

Bruno raises a tall slide and a sturdy climbing frame, while Rosie plans a tunnel and a small bridge for the smallest creatures. When the animals arrive, Pip the mouse in a blue acorn-cap hat stays back, feeling too small for such big structures. Written by Jane MEADOW, this gentle tale follows the friends as they rethink their plans so the playground suits everyone. It can be read on Kids Tale Book.
