Terna is a small tern with a white body, soft grey wings and a black cap, living on a sunny cliff by the sea. Beneath her wing she keeps a sky-blue diary tied with a yellow ribbon, and a tiny pencil rests in her orange-red beak. One morning she writes her first entry and sets off across the ocean, promising to record everything she sees.
Her journey becomes more than a record of waves and weather, because the friends she meets begin to entrust her diary with their own messages. Finn, a small fish with shiny blue scales, asks her to carry a note to his cousin in a far reef, and Madame Hump, a huge blue-grey whale, offers the tired bird a place to rest while telling old stories of faraway waters. When a storm blows Terna off course, a puffin named Pip guides her to a safe ledge. Written by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK, this gentle tale about curiosity and friendship can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
