Pip, a small russet-orange squirrel, spends her mornings exploring the woods with her acorn-cap satchel. One cool afternoon, a trail of shiny acorns leads her to an unfamiliar place, where she discovers a golden lantern with a braided grass handle, dusty and forgotten but still beautiful. She carries it home to Granny Hazel, who knows it from old stories: the lantern glows when memories are near.

That evening, golden light fills the room and floating pictures show the family's past, from young Uncle Bramble leaping between branches to Granny Hazel climbing the tallest pine in a thunderstorm to rescue a baby bird. As the pictures fade, Pip learns that memories grow stronger when shared aloud, and she passes the stories on to her baby sister, Little Fern. Written by Çınar BİBER, this gentle tale about family, memory, and everyday courage can be read on Masalcı Baba.
