In the great oak forest, a clever squirrel named Pip decides to build a clock from acorns so she can know the exact day autumn will arrive. She shapes a flat mushroom into a face and uses tiny twigs as hands, but the finished clock stays silent and still, its ticks slow and uneven even after a gentle nudge.

Her friend Tap, a woodpecker with a bright red crest and a magnifying lens on a string, comes to help. Together they try smaller acorns, thinner twigs, a pebble and a leaf, and each attempt teaches them something new. This gentle story by Çınar BİBER follows their patient experiments, showing young readers how curiosity and teamwork turn failed tries into lessons. The tale can be read on Masalcı Baba.
