The Robin's Reading Room

In a snug nest beneath a large oak tree, a robin wearing a small blue apron decides to open her treasured books to others. She creates a little library named the Reading Room, inviting small animals to borrow a book. A rabbit in round green glasses and a knitted mustard-yellow vest comes first, then a mouse with a red scarf and a canvas satchel. The robin is happy to see her library bringing friends together.

When dark clouds appear and rain endangers the books, the robin and the mouse quickly work to carry them into the oak's hollow. Sheltering there, they find that reading together feels even better than reading alone. The rabbit and a shy hedgehog soon join them, and stories are shared.
