Little Rabbit lives in a cozy burrow under the roots of a big oak tree, spending her mornings hopping through the woodland to greet the birds and flowers. One sunny day near the stream, she comes across something unexpected: a tiny red camera on a brown leather strap, together with a small blue satchel bag. Feeling very grown up, she hangs the camera around her neck and announces to the trees that she is a photographer now. Her first attempts, however, produce only blurry pictures in which she cannot tell the bird from the mushroom.
A wise old owl with round wire spectacles notices her disappointment and offers simple advice: hold still and look closely. Little Rabbit practices every day, steadying her paws and peering through the small window at the back of the camera. Her photographs of the stream, the ferns and the butterflies grow sharper, and she begins to notice details she had never seen before. When she asks the bird and the shy little mouse to sit for portraits, each animal discovers something lovely about itself. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER can be read on Masalcı Baba.
