In a sunny woodland, a cheerful quokka named Kip lives in a cozy burrow under a big gum tree. Kip has warm golden-brown fur, rounded ears, and a smile that never fades. He carries a small woven satchel everywhere he goes, and inside is a tiny wooden box with a little latch. Kip calls it his question box, and it is his favorite thing in the whole world. Every morning, Kip hops through the woodland to visit his friends, listening to their wonderings. Olive the owl asks why the sky is blue, Remy the rabbit wonders where bugs sleep at night, and Kip writes each question on a tiny leaf and tucks it into his wooden box. He welcomes every question, saying, 'Your questions are treasures.'
One morning, Kip meets a wise echidna named Elder Etta, who has spiky brown quills, a long slender snout, and round wire spectacles. When Kip tells her his question box is full, Elder Etta smiles kindly and suggests they investigate together. Their first question comes from Olive: 'Why is the sky blue?' Elder Etta and Kip climb a gentle hill, and Etta explains that sunlight dances through tiny bits of air, and blue light scatters the most. Next, they visit Remy, who asks where bugs sleep. Elder Etta leads them to a hollow log, where they peek inside and see beetles nestled under bark and ants tucked in tiny tunnels. Word spreads about Kip's question box and Elder Etta's answers, and more friends come with questions about leaves changing color and birds building nests. Kip writes each question carefully, and Elder Etta says, 'Every question is a little door. When we open it, we learn something new.' This tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
