On the icy shore of Waddle Bay, Pip the penguin wakes up happy and puts on his red scarf with white stripes. Inside his little blue satchel, he keeps a shiny paper calendar he found the day before. When he flips to the end, he discovers that the very last page is missing. Frightened that tomorrow itself has disappeared, Pip turns to his friend Splash, a silver-grey seal with long white whiskers, and together they set off across the sparkling ice to search for the lost page.
Their hunt takes them to the snowbank where the calendar was found, to the noisy penguin colony, and to the shimmering tide pools. They dig, sniff, ask everyone they meet, and peer under ice chunks and frozen rocks, but no page turns up. As the sun begins to sink, Pip sits on a smooth rock and wonders whether tomorrow is gone forever. Splash gently suggests they think about what tomorrow really is, and the answer turns out not to be paper at all. This warm tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
