In a whispering bamboo forest, a cheerful young panda named Bamboo greets each day with a smile. One sunny morning a package tied with a leafy bow arrives, and inside rests a tiny red umbrella no larger than a flower. Bamboo had pictured something big enough to keep himself dry, yet this one covers only a single ear. Instead of sulking, he starts to wonder who the little umbrella could really belong to.
Near the berry bushes he hears faint squeaks and finds a mouse family — Mouse Papa in his blue scarf, Mouse Mama in her yellow apron, and a baby mouse wearing a green leaf hat — trying to picnic beneath the hot sun and prickly grass. Bamboo plants the wooden handle in a crack on a flat rock, giving them a small red roof. This warm story by Çınar BİBER, which can be read on Masalcı Baba, invites young listeners to see small things in a new light.
