The Owl's Blue Bicycle

In a cozy forest clearing, a small owl with soft brown and cream feathers is given a shiny blue bicycle. Her big amber eyes sparkle with curiosity, yet her wings tremble with fear. Wearing her tiny red helmet, she climbs on, but the seat wobbles and she is unsure what to do. A friendly hedgehog named Hazel bustles by and offers to help.

Day after day, Hazel patiently guides Owl through balancing, pedaling and steering. Owl sometimes falls, but the soft grass cushions her and she gets back up, holding on to Hazel's encouraging words. As the weeks pass, her confidence grows and she learns to ride around pinecones, rocks and the big oak tree. This heartwarming tale by Çınar BİBER explores perseverance, patience and friendship, and can be read on Masalcı Baba.
