Oscar the otter is always in a hurry, dashing through life with his blue neckerchief and tiny brass pocket watch, convinced that tomorrow will be better. He hates waiting for breakfast, for the river to warm up, or for his turn on the slide. His best friend Pip, a little green frog in a red-and-white striped sun hat, tries to keep up but often gets left behind. One afternoon, Oscar finds a mysterious golden clock half-buried in the mud. When he presses a button, he is whisked into tomorrow, skipping over chores and boring waits.

At first, jumping ahead seems wonderful—he attends the river festival, eats honey cakes, and wins a swimming race. But he soon realizes that Pip missed the festival because he left him behind. As Oscar continues to skip days, he loses the small joys of everyday life: Pip's jokes, the smell of fresh berries, the warm sun on his fur. He feels lonely and unhappy, especially when he arrives early at a picnic only to find no one there because he skipped the preparations. A wise old turtle named Tilly helps Oscar understand that the best moments are the ones you don't skip. This charming story by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK teaches children the value of mindfulness, friendship, and enjoying the present moment. Read it on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
