Deep beneath a green meadow, a small mole with velvety dark grey fur, round red glasses and a tiny blue bow tie spends his evenings in a cozy burrow, listening to the earth hum. He dreams of sharing that music with everyone and decides to hold a grand underground concert, polishing his little conductor baton and sending invitations rolled into acorns to Rabbit, Turtle and Bird. The tale is by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK and can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
His friends are excited to come, but they soon discover a problem: the narrow tunnels were never made for a rabbit's long ears, a bird's need to glide or a turtle's slow and careful pace. Mole's heart sinks until a tiny shrew named Shrew arrives in a yellow hard hat and orange tool belt. With her measuring tape and Mole's big shovel paws, they begin designing a different entrance for each animal, lighting the way with glowworms. The story follows the digging, the testing of each new path and the concert night itself, when the underground hall fills with squirrels, field mice and beetles alongside the first three guests.
