The Missing Festival Drum

In a village nestled among green hills, everyone is caught up in preparations for the yearly celebration, whose centerpiece is a towering festival drum decorated with red and gold zigzags. Nine-year-old Mia, a curious detective-in-training with puffy hair buns and a canvas satchel for gathering clues, eagerly awaits its deep boom. When the drum vanishes from the square, suspicion quickly turns toward the traveling musicians who have just arrived.

Mia will not accuse anyone without proof. Following rope fibers, wood shavings and a small footprint, she uncovers the real reason behind the drum's disappearance. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle mystery can be read on Online Masal and invites young readers to follow Mia as she works with Grandpa Osei, the village drum keeper, to help the community finish a surprise repair through honesty and cooperation.
