In the wide blue ocean where sunlight plays on the waves, a small deep-blue whale named Pip discovers a brass compass on a woven seaweed cord resting on the sandy floor near the coral reef. Thinking it might lead to an adventure, Pip puts it on, but the needle spins, points in odd directions and only traces silly loops. The sea suddenly seems enormous and Pip feels very small.

A sleek dolphin named Delphie appears and offers to help, treating the wobbling compass as a special kind of map. Together they travel toward a narrow channel between tall rocks, through a swaying kelp maze and past frothy water, with Delphie reading the clues and Pip following bravely. This gentle ocean tale by Çınar BİBER explores courage, teamwork and trust, and can be read on Masalcı Baba.
