In a bright enchanted bay, a small sea otter named Pip spends his days floating and chasing fish. One morning he spots a ripple that does not belong to him: a silver-grey creature with kind black eyes and a whiskered snout. She is Splash, new to the bay, and Pip gladly offers to show her around.
As they swim past mussel-covered rocks and starfish, Pip teaches Splash to float and Splash teaches him to spin in slow circles. A fresh green scent leads them to a hidden kelp garden, where a colourful shell lies wedged between two rocks. Pulling alone only bumps their noses, so the two friends pause and plan a way to free it together. This gentle story by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL explores curiosity, kindness and teamwork, and it can be read on Masal İzle, especially aloud with preschoolers and early readers.
