In a bright blue sea where seagrass sways like a green ribbon, a little seadragon named Leaf glides quietly through the blades. His golden-amber body is fringed with olive and yellow leaf-shaped fronds, and his gentle dark eyes are full of curiosity. With a small woven satchel over his shoulder, Leaf is always ready for adventure. One sunny morning he meets Pip, a slender pipefish with green and brown stripes and a tiny shell necklace, and the two set off to explore together.
Their swim leads them to Grandma Coral, a wise old seahorse in gold-rimmed spectacles, who explains why the friends are so hard to see. When a small sea snail named Pearl cries that her precious pearl is missing, Leaf and Pip promise to help. They search the sandy floor and the tall seagrass, following a trail of tiny bubbles to a dense clump of blades. This gentle underwater tale by Çınar BİBER can be read on Masalcı Baba.
