In a warm, sunny bushland, a little kangaroo with soft reddish-brown fur and a cream belly wakes up ready to explore. Hopping along a winding path past gum trees and buzzing bees, she finds a round, prickly creature hiding near a fallen log: a shy young echidna. The kangaroo invites her to hop, but the echidna's short, sturdy legs and digging claws are not made for jumping, and the kangaroo cannot dig. At first the two seem too different to share an adventure.
The kangaroo gently insists that they do not have to be the same to explore together, and the echidna waddles out from under the log. Side by side, the new friends set off until a tangle of thick roots and fallen branches blocks their way. Each then discovers what the other can do, and their different skills open a path forward. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this warm tale can be read on Masal İzle and gently shows young children that friendship does not require sameness.
