The Little Dolphin's Mirror

In the sparkling blue sea lives a small, round dolphin with smooth blue-grey skin, a soft silver belly, and a gentle smile that brightens everyone around her. One sunny morning, while chasing a shimmering school of fish near a rocky cave, she finds a strange round object with a golden frame shaped like swirling seashells, small blue gems along its edge, and a surface that glows pearl-white. When she nudges it, it feels warm and light, and tiny sparkles drift around it.

Lifting the magic mirror with her flippers, she expects to see her own face, but the glass shows moving pictures of her own kind deeds instead. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER follows the little dolphin as she comes to understand what the mirror reflects, and how her friends respond when they look into it themselves. Suited to young readers and to adults reading aloud, the story can be read on Masalcı Baba and offers a calm, warm lesson about self-knowledge, generosity, and the quiet happiness that comes from being kind.
