The Little Dolphin's Lantern

Pip is a small dolphin with smooth blue-grey skin and a cream-colored belly, and he loves to explore. On a bright morning he swims farther than he ever has and meets Glimmer, a tiny fish with golden-orange scales and a glowing lure above its head that shines like a lantern. The two quickly become friends, and Pip asks Glimmer to join him in exploring a mysterious underwater passage he has long wanted to see. Glimmer is shy and uneasy in the dark, but agrees to go along.

In the passage the water is cool and still, and odd shapes rise in the shadows. Pip's heart races, yet Glimmer's gentle light shows the way, and their friendship steadies them both. They wind through turns, bump against rocks, and must pick between a wide, bright path and a narrow, dark one.
