In the leafy treetops, a curious lemur named Lilo with bright amber eyes and a long striped tail sets out one morning with her woven vine satchel and a few tools. Among the branches she comes upon an old wooden bridge, moss-covered and strung with vines, its planks missing and its ropes fraying. Though it sways and creaks under her, Lilo feels the bridge once mattered and decides it should be mended rather than left to fall apart.

Knowing the task is too big for one, she calls on Tilly the tenrec, strong for her size, and Cam the chameleon, whose swivel eyes and gripping feet reach high places and tie knots. Together they inspect loose posts, gather branches and vines, and work patiently through the morning, each doing what they do best. The tale by Çınar BİBER can be read on Masalcı Baba.
