In a quiet corner of the woodland, a little hedgehog named Pip spends his days gathering the small treasures the forest leaves behind. One sunny morning, a curious smell draws him to the edge of the old oak clearing, where he finds a tiny wooden horse half-buried in the soft earth, chipped and missing a wheel. Pip slips it into his satchel and heads home, unsure what a small hedgehog could do with a broken old toy.
At home the horse only wobbles, so Pip brings it to his friend Hazel the rabbit, who keeps tiny tools in her red work apron. Hazel notices the stamp of the woodland toy museum and explains that the museum displays only toys that still work. Together they search for a new wheel, settle on a smooth pebble, and mend the broken leg. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER follows the two friends as careful hands and patience turn an old find into something new. The story can be read on Masalcı Baba.
