The Hedgehog's Moon Garden

Pip, a small hedgehog with soft brown spines and a moss green scarf, lives in a burrow under an old oak. Each evening he watches the moon rise, and one night it seems to whisper a secret: plant the silver seeds in his satchel, and they will grow into a garden that follows the moonlight. Pip finds a quiet spot in the meadow, digs small holes, waters the seeds, and waits.

Night after night nothing appears, teaching Pip that good things grow slowly. When green tips finally emerge and silver leaves curl toward the moon, he is overjoyed. As flowers open each evening, Pip sits beside them, watching his moon garden travel across the sky.
