Maya arrives at Sunny Hill Farm carrying her canvas satchel, pencils and a small notebook, ready to meet the animals and learn how farm life works. Farmer Jo greets her at the gate, and soon a round, sturdy pig named Pippin trots over, his blue collar and little brass bell jingling. When Farmer Jo mentions that pigs are clever problem-solvers, Maya's curiosity is sparked and her notebook starts filling with observations.

Maya notices how much Pippin enjoys figuring things out, from nudging open her satchel's zipper to the focus he shows when Farmer Jo recalls the day he opened the feed bin alone. With Farmer Jo's help, she builds safe puzzles for him: apple slices hidden under cups, a carrot dangling from a rope, and a board with treats tucked into holes. As Pippin works through each challenge, the other animals gather to watch. This tale by Çınar BİBER can be read on Masalcı Baba, where simple farmyard discovery meets a gentle lesson about curiosity, empathy and the responsibility of caring for another creature.
